Cementitious Waterproofing for Tanks & Pools

Cement-based waterproofing built for water-retaining structures — pools, water tanks, basements and sumps — that resists both positive and negative water pressure.

What it is

Built for structures that hold, or hold back, water

Cementitious waterproofing bonds chemically with concrete to form a rigid, durable barrier. Because it resists both positive pressure (water pushing out, like a pool) and negative pressure (water pushing in, like a basement), it is the right system for water-retaining and below-ground structures.

It is safe for potable water tanks when the correct grade is used, and provides a strong base for tiling on pools and decorative water features.

When you need this

Questions

Tanks & Pool FAQ

Is it safe for drinking-water tanks?

Yes — we use potable-water-approved grades for tanks that store drinking water.

Can you tile over it?

Yes. Cementitious waterproofing is a strong, bonded base that tiles adhere to well — ideal for pools and water features.

What is negative-side waterproofing?

It is waterproofing that resists water pushing in from the outside — essential for basements and lift pits where you cannot reach the external face.

Do you flood-test pools and tanks?

Where practical we carry out a flood test (often 48 hours) to confirm water-tightness before handover.

Is the inspection free?

Yes — free inspection and a full photo report, no obligation.
